Marc Anthony Saggese attended the State University of New York at Cortland and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) in Political Science. Saggese received his Juris Doctorate degree from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, in Washington, D.C. After obtaining his law degree, Saggese served as a Captain in the United States Army, Judge Advocate General Corps. Saggese has been practicing law for 17 years. He is a civil and criminal trial attorney.
Saggese was also a pro tempore Judge for the Las Vegas Municipal Court System, as well as a Small Claims Court Judge. He is licensed in Nevada, Georgia, Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
Marc Saggese is also the inspiration for the character, Pete Kaczmarek on CBS’s Wednesday night TV drama, “The Defenders.” He works closely with the writers on all scripts and provides the legal and storyline authenticity for the show.
